Like others, I am anxiously awaiting shipment of my iPad (32gb wifi). The order status changed to "prepared for shipment" early yesterday morning and has been there all day yesterday and today. Did this happen to others here who have received their iPads? Maybe I'm just too anxious to know that it's on the way. I also have an Apple iPad case and the camera connection kit ordered, but they're still at "Not shipped yet." I wouldn't mind waiting on the iPad if they could ship the entire order next week.

Mine was delivered on release day, it showed as prepared for shipment the Monday prior to the Saturday release... so 5 days for mine.

    Hope that helps...

Theoretically, it could remain in that status indefinitely.

Poor little iPad, sitting on the side of the runway, seeing all his brothers and sisters take flight and head for their new homes. So sad. :D

Actually, the delivery window is from April 19-23, so it's not delayed (yet). But if it is on the side of the runway somewhere, I wish FedEx would go fetch it. :D

My 32GB WiFi iPad was ordered on April 10th and just switched to "Prepared For Shipment" this morning, with an Estimated Delivery Date range of April 20th-26th.

I wondered that myself, but uploaded a screen shot anyway.

I am guessing he misread and thought you meant a 32 GB WIFI + 3G. Enjoy your iPads adam!

    Thanks, will do!

Bought one for the wife as a surprise, she's been asking a ton of questions about it lately and when I told her she could stream Netflix to it, she "had to have one"

Now is not the time to be a nice husband and give her the 32 GB one. :D

Just hope she isn't posting on here - wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. I have a feeling I'm going to be an "important" marketing tool for Apple. While 10 to 20 more iPads wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket for Apple, there are a lot of people are work that are waiting on my experiences with the iPad to see if they'll get one. I guess I'm the "early adopter" this time around, and I was nice enough to promise them each a few hours with it. With having two in your house, Apple could really get a lot of marketing out of your family!
