There have been many rumors lately about a potential verizon iPhone coming in 2010. I was talking to a couple Verizon techs in my area, and they told me a Verizon iPhone has been in the works for almost a year now but has just recently started to gain more attention. He suggested that I get "locked in" to a rate plan now, that way I wouldn't be affected if prices are upped when/if the iPhone comes out (and I might even be eligible for an upgrade.) I've been wanting to switch to verizon for a while now, because of T-Mobile's spotty coverage and AT&T's outrageous rates and dropped calls. Verizon is by far the most well-rounded carrier in my area with decent rates & good coverage. I live near Baltimore, MD. Seeing as I have been wanting to switch to verizon for a while, would now be a good time? And, (hypothetically) would I be better off if a verizon iPhone comes out (not having rates upped, & possibly being eligible for an upgrade)?
