Preparing for shipment but not charged yet?

Me. Originally I had a hold for the amount when it changed to "preparing", but that fell off my bank account yesterday. I called my bank and they told me the charge should go through today as it was in their system. I have a UPS tracking number so I'm trying not to worry about it.
ETA: I paid with a debit card.

Really?! This is the first time i've read someone saying that the Watch + Link Bracelet has been changed to preparing, given the time to ship is 4-6 weeks. If that's the case, then that's excellent news!

Completed order 4 minutes after the site opened for business, California.
Order confirmation arrived about a minute or less after completion.

interesting - i ordered the same config, in NYC area, and have a confirmation email from 3:04am EST - so you'd think we'd be in the exact same boat here (or plane, as the case may be...)
hoping i get a similar update soon - still nothing!! i was actually not expecting anything before May 13th even though they sometimes ship stuff early, but all of this talk in the last 2 days has been pretty hard to ignore!

Count your blessings. Apple is sending knowing they will charge you very soon or your bank is just waiting to post the charge.

Yes. I haven't been charged and show 'Preparing for Shipment'. I also have all my info on UPS and have even redirected it to my UPS hub for pick up early Friday.
I still find it odd I haven't been charged. I've been checking my bank like crazy too.
My Order went to Preparing shipping at around 2:00pm PCT and its 8:24pm and still not charged on my CC or Tracking info in UPS
