Preparing for upcoming JB

is there anyway possible to get the 5.0.1 shsh blobs at all if so could someone help me please , i have the 5.1.1 shsh blobs but cant find the 5.0.1 anywhere
 
SHSH Blobs are custom blobs specific to your personal iDevice, if you do not have the SHSH blobs from previous versions then there are no ways to retrieve them.
 
Is there a reason TU is mentioned almost exclusively in this thread? I used Redsn0w to save my blobs/APTicket - seems to have worked fine. I've heard of iFaith working for many as well...
 
-Uninstalled Java
-Installed 32-bit + 64-bit of latest Java version
-Deleted TU
-Re-downloaded a fresh copy of TU
-Removed password lock from my 4S
-Assigned "admin" + "XP compatibility mode" to TU
-rebooted Win7 PC + rebooted iPhone 4S
-Started TU, connected 4S to USB port (heard connection sound + auto-play window pops up).....

Tiny Umbrella still does NOT recognize my connected 4S device in the left panel.

I have a feeling this is an issue with TU.

Anyhow, I've all but exhausted this route. Not worth it anymore. Just going to wait for new 5.1 JB and will try it again at that time.

or you could just install iSHSHit from Cydia, and save and email your blobs to yourself. No need for external tools.

That's what I ended up doing - going the iSHSHit route. Also emailed my saved blobs to myself for storage. Nice.

I'm almost certain that there is a bug w/ the latest TU version for x64 Windows systems. Oh well.
