I'm going to be selling my iPad Air 2 in preparation for the 9.7in iPad Pro.

Is it just a case of backing up my iPad to my Mac, wiping the device via settings, sell it, restore my backup to my new iPad pro and it will be exactly like my current iPad Air 2?

Cheers

Don't forget to remove the iPad from your list of devices in iCloud.

Hopefully they actually do sell a new 9.7" iPad. I'm sure they will, but this isn't a typical launch and there's always that chance. It would suck to sell your iPad now, only to find out in a few weeks that you need to buy another. :p

Right, I followed the instructions on the apple website, signed out of iCloud on my iPad (which removed it from my device list on iCloud.com).

I then erased all contents and settings via the iPad menu system.

That's all I need to do isn't it? All my data and files have been wiped and there is no way the person I sell it to can access them?
