Prepping a mini for Sale

I purchased a new MacBook Air, and I'm selling my mini on craigslist.

I need to reset it to factory defaults and wipe the hard drive. As you know, there is no disk drive.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

Create a bootable USB drive or (correct me if i am wrong someone) i think you can restore from the internet ?

The Mac mini you have is a 2011 model?
