preserve baseband on ios5 gm?

I want to update to the ios5 gm, but i also need my baseband for gevey. Does tinyumbrella preserve baseband for this? Does any one know?

I would wait till TU is upgraded for 5.0 or other tools are released to maintain your old bb.

It's definitely not going to be the 01.59.00, but I wonder how it's going to work with it being both GSM and CDMA.

i tried to use TU to update my iphone 4 to iOS 5 GM earlier and preserve baseband.. the phone/itunes gets stuck on "preparing iphone for restore". so it doesn't look like it works atm. hopefully there's an update soon

^^..there's no way to preserve baseband on mac yet well at least that i know of..you would need to way for pwnage tool to be updated to work with iOS 5 GM...or you can borrow a friends or family members pc 🙂
