oh. alright. i was just always under the impressions that charging when your laptop is still at a good percentage is bad.

if what i read was right, if to lessen charge cycles, i should just.. not be so serious with my battery and just use it without minding the percentage. (meaning, charge it whenever i can/need to)

Yes, just remember to calibrate every once in a while (once a month) and use it on battery every now and then.

You're referring to "memory effect" in older batteries. Some cordless phones (not mobile phones) might still use this type of battery, but the problem doesn't exist for Lithium polymers.
