Im an Audio Engineer by trade but i need some help with
working on this Commercial.

I got a 30 Sec Video commercial where i need to add
Some text at the very end.

i need to add the store name and URL in the final frames.

the idea that i kinda had was that the Text would
fade in then kinda blow away like dust afterwards.

What is the best program to use to do this?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this
:D

Live type is an easy program to learn and has the effect that you are looking for.

RIght, just stay away from the LiveFonts and add animation effects to normal text. Too many people are using the shiny bar LiveFont and it's beginning to get a star-wipe reception.

Ditto on livetype. Sounds like a cool, yet simple idea you have there.

Why do people list their toys in their sig...nobody gives a $#**
Off topic, but couldn't resist...
I have my tools in my sig so people know what kind of system I'm using when I post. Other wise, how are they to know that I know what they're talking about. You can't be troubleshooting intel bugs on ppc and like wise.
If you want to know what just happened in FCP and you're on a G4, I probably know, but won't assume so since you're on a different machine.;)

DO NOT USE THE DEFAULT SETTING OF ANY PRE-SET YOU FIND IN LIVETYPE.

PLEASE!!!!!

I see livetype background, objects and livefonts ALL THE TIME on TV commercials, or XXX videos (they use alot of macs apparently)

It sickens me when someone just grabs an animated background, and doesnt even try to change the color(s), just plops it in there...

its as bad as playing with Soundtrack for a while, and then hearing every friggen Apple Loop on every tv commercial.

BE CREATIVE, dont be LAZY!

When it comes to LiveTypes animated motions for texts, those are really where you need to be careful. YES, the presets are cool, but bouncing in text, or bump n grind text etc etc, all need some tweaking by the user, otherwise its the same thing over and over.....
