macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 / Safari 26.3:

Is there a setting to keep Safari "Open" while in Sleep Mode on Mac mini M-4?

I put the Mac to sleep every night and in the morning Safari is shut down. (No dot under Safari icon in Dock). This logs me out of some, not all websites and have to re log in again. I've searched everywhere for a setting and can't find one. Is there a setting to keep Safari working while in long time Sleep Mode?

Sleep Mode should not shut Safari down.

Check system uptime - option-Apple key, System Information, Software, Time since boot. Does it seem to be restarting while asleep?
Any pop-up messages on wake?

No Pop-ups on wake. I rebooted sometime yesterday evening. No reboot while asleep.

Curious.

I see in your sig that you have quite a few plug-in type apps installed, could be a problem with one of those perhaps.

Try booting in Safe Mode next time the Mac is going to sleep for a while; then open up some sites in Safari and let it sleep there. If the issue isn't happening in Safe Mode, then "Something" is running that's causing the problem; remove auto-starting apps until you sort it out.

Tried all that and nothing.

I did see this thread today about "App Nap / Sleep":

This is what's showing on my Mac with Safari open and not being used before it shuts down automatically. I'm wondering if this is normal behavior for a M-4 Mac?
