Prevent Spotlight Searching DVD's

Is there any Terminal commands that will do this? I use Spotlight all the time - to load documents to loading applications. However, I hate how it makes any DVD's in my drive spin up.

I never search DVD's, so turning this off wouldn't be an issue.

Try an app called SpotLess, never tried it though.

Other than disabling it completely you have to add each DVD individually to the Privacy "do not scan" list in Spotlights preferences in the System Preferences. As long as the disk name stays the same it should remember it if removed, though I have no idea.
