Hello! I'm having serious issues with Preview lately. Sometimes, when viewing .pdf docs, Preview shows a bunch of garbage text, but the same doc looks fine in Reader.
Other times, it doesn't show much of the text at all, only headlines and images. Sometimes I can close it and reopen and all the text this there. Then close it and reopen and the text disappears.
I've ditched all the plist preferences, but it hasn't helped. I had set some Quartz Filters in ColorSync to allow for .pdf compression but have removed all of those.
Is there a way to restore all the default settings or reinstall Preview? Leopard was put on this computer by the Geniuses at the Apple Store so I don't have the disc.
