Hi my friends!

I have a issue with Preview App on Mac OS X Mavericks.

When I try to open the Preview app, I see the app jumping for a few seconds and then closes. I can not open pictures and pdf's. Does anyone have a solution?

Cheers!

Open Console. It is in Applications -> Utilities

Then on the left hand side click on the system log. Open preview and in the log look at the bottom and see if Preview is mentioned.

Ok. So I have this...

"Sep 29 15:22:43 mbp-de-rogerio.lan Dock[202]: Composited image scale (0x) does not match requested scale (1x) for binding BundleBinding [0xe0d] URL: file:///Applications/Preview.app/ bundle identifier: com.apple.Preview.
Sep 29 15:22:43 mbp-de-rogerio.lan Dock[202]: Failed to generate image for binding BundleBinding [0xe0d] URL: file:///Applications/Preview.app/ bundle identifier: com.apple.Preview at size:128 and scale: 1 filename: (null)
Sep 29 15:22:43 mbp-de-rogerio.lan Preview[1508]: Unable to load nib file: MainMenu, exiting
Sep 29 15:22:43 mbp-de-rogerio com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[191] (com.apple.Preview.14288[1508]): Exited with code: 1"

It's possible fix this issue?

Looks like your copy of Preview is corrupted somehow (missing nib).

Restore it from your backup.

I love when people who don't even know how to view system log, are using a developer preview... Just... why?
