I want to make Preview my default instead of Adobe Reader. After searching, I found an old post that asked that question, and an answer saying, "Use Get Info on one of your PDFs to change the default app for all PDFs."

I do not find Get Info. Can anyone tell me how to change the default back to Preview? It changed after I downloaded Adobe Reader.

Right-click the file with the proper extension, choose Get Info, follow the instructions you have thereafter.

Or just highlight the file and Command+I. Voila! Get Info!

Oh, delete Adobe Reader, then, too. I've found it to be bloatware.

Highlight a PDF, the press :apple:+I

The pop up will have stuff you're looking for, make sure to press "change all" to make Preview universal for PDFs

Right click on a pdf file and choose Get Info and change to Preview in the drop down at the bottom.
