In Preview, when I select "Mail pdf" the program defaults to the Mail app, but I want to use Gmail. Can the choice of mail program be changed?

It defaults to whatever you have set as your default mail client. So, if you're using Gmail via the web, you're kinda stuck. However, if you use something like Mailplane (Gmail-specific mail client - damned good it is too), which can be configured as your primary email client, then it will work as expected.

Dear Tersono,
Thanks for your reply. How do I know (or change) what I have set as my "default mail client?" Can you tell me more about how Mailplane would work in my case? Are you saying that I could set it up so Preview automatically chooses THAT program to email a pdf? What would be the advantage over what it's doing now?
Appreciate your help...this stuff is really confusing to me!
