When I hover over a hyperlink in Internet Explorer, the hyperlink's address is displayed at the bottom of the browser. Does Safari have a similar previewing function?

I'm collecting data for a project, and given a list of hundreds of links, I only actually need to access about half of them. If I could preview each hyperlink's address, I'd know whether or not I need to open the link. I'm working on a weak internet connection, so previewing these hyperlinks could save me a lot of time spent opening the other half of links I don't need.
