I recently upgraded to Sequoia and now Preview acts different than before. I do this:
Open a PDF document in Preview
Export it with Black and White filter

When i had Sonoma the exported pdf has much less KB than the original.
But now with Sequoia the exported pdf has much MORE KB.

the Sonoma Preview is Version 11.0 (1056.5.1)
the Sequoia Preview is Version 11.0 (1069.2.3)

Any ideas, how I can get the present Preview app to act like the old one?

I'm not seeing that behavior. I opened a 1.8MB PDF photo, exported with Black & White, the export is 333KB

I start with a pdf that a printer outputs after scanning some papers. For example 731 KB.
Sonoma exported with Black & White 371 KB
Sequoia exported with Black & White 1.2 MB
