Preview - music

Hi guys,

I've decided I love using preview (tapping spacebar) to listen to music I don't want in my itunes library. It's great apart from if you go on anything else it stops 🙁 Is there any option to disable this or hack to keep it running in the background?

Have quicktime (or any media player) in the dock and drag the song into it and press play.
