Preview - no solid lines?

I can't make solid lines or outlines anymore. Just dashed or crayon. What the hell happened? Is this Apple being "brave" again?

um can you not just un-select the crayon mode?

Yes you can. I don't know why they don't display all three options. It seems more intuitive to me, but there you go.

the way I look at it, the default is always the straight line and selecting any of the options is just adding a style to that line.
