Preview out of focus ?

Whenever i open a photo on preview it opens up clear and then goes blurred.
Does anyone know why and if so how to change it?
Any help would be appreciated.

In 5 years, I've never found a way to disable it and I'm not sure why it does it. However, you'll become accustomed to it. There are a number of other unusual things it does.

it doesnt blur the image it anti-aliases the image to make it look good and not look like crap with all the pixelated "jagyness"
