I use preview as my default pdf viewer. However, it consistently opens with the window aligned all the way over to the left hand side of my screen#($&#%*&!

I've played around with the little green button and have only made the window permanently smaller.. please help me get preview to open up a pdf centered in the middle of the screen. I would even be ok with it opening fully maximized across the screen.

Ryan.

I too use Preview as my default pdf viewer. But I do not think what you're asking for is possible natively in OS/X. Perhaps in 10.7 [Lion] you we will be able to.

In the mean time, check out Forget-Me-Not™, it may be what you're looking for.

'forget me not' looks like it would have been perfect! Too bad it doesn't work with leopard. The best solution I've found so far is something called 'cinch'. The window is automatically expanded to full screen when I drag it to the top of the desktop. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/33161/cinch/

Thanks for the reply.
