My Preview program's crop tool stopped working (function greyed out in Tools menu, shortcut also broken). Any ideas on how to fix this?

What Mac OS X version do you use?
Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?
Have you tried deleting "com.apple.Preview.plist" in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Preferences / yet?
