Preview: Remember Window Size?

Hi
I'd like for Preview to remember the size of my window so that the next time I open the app I don't have to resize the window all over again. The app preferences don't mention anything about it. Is this not a function Preview has? Is there a more powerful app I should get instead? I use Preview mainly for PDF viewing.

Have you tried using Safari or Adobe Reader to view the PDF's?

I don't necessarily want to do use a web browser. Adobe's--yes I suppose I could DL that*. I suppose this means that Preview has no option to save window size?

*I am trying to avoid it.
