Hello, I have installed both Preview and adobe reader and I find that Preview is a lot better than the Acrobat program. When I create a pdf i usually get an adobe icon but other times I get a preview icon. As I prefer Preview, how can I save as a preference to always save as a Preview icon instead of an acrobat?

Also, I haven't been able to figure out how to change the highlight colour from grey to a more outstanding one (i.e yellow)

1) Find a pdf file (prefereably one with the Acrobat icon), click on it and use File -> Get Info (cmd-I). Use the Open With: dropdown menu to choose Preview and hit the Change All... button.

2) Preview has the same highlight colour as your OS. This you can change in System Preferences -> Appearance -> Highlight Color.
