I seem to have lost preview, when I normally click on a .jpg picture preview will open it but now when i click on a picture say on my desktop nothing happens. Also when I click on Preview in applications nothing also happens.
Any ideas how to get preview working again

Is there a preview preference file or plist file that you could erase?

Im wondering about this too. Ive deleted both the preview.plist file and the preview.bookmark.plist or whatever that one was--still no Preview. I cant even open the application. The dock seems to bounce and then...nothing. Its really annoying not being able to open any pictures without having to go through a bunch of rig-a-moro!

When you click on preview it wont open?
Preview has no window that opens on your desk top. In your finder does it say preview next to the apple?
Right click, (control + click) on a .jpg and chose open with, preview

I have some pictures I tried to open from the Finder window. I right clicked the photo (a .jpg) and chose to open it with Preview. The dock moved...like it was thinking about it, then nothing. Finder is in the top left next to the apple.
