I want a new machine so bad I can not stand it, and I am afraid I will end up buying one of the current gens. Knowing my "luck" as it is, I can safely predict the market launch of a new revision 31 days following my purchase.

That out of the way, what does everyone think is fair for the following machine. I do not want to get rid of it on Mac Rumors; likely Craigslist since I am in a college town and Macs seem to sell like hot chocolate in January.

There is always some sucker on ebay willing to pay more for a used machine than a new one. Don't worry about it. If a new one comes out, sell the recently purchased one.
