Recently with the new upgrade options for the rMBP, with the student discount the prices for the processor WAS $90 for an upgrade but has increased to $100. The SSD upgrade to 512GB is now $500 and no longer $450.


These prices make sense, because you can no longer choose options for the base model to be cheaper than the high end.

Figured this would happen soon. Glad I got my $60 refund when I did.
