Hi, with the rumoured price cuts being mentioned- what do people think Apple will actually offer. I’m hoping the UK will be included.

I doubt that if the phone's too expensive for you now, the price-cut will make a difference. But if it's going to happen and you were going to buy one anyway, I'd just wait out if no other good deals are available.

What makes you think Apple will offer anything? I mean, I understand the rumor, but does Apple have to offer anything aside from a price cut?

Amazon.co.uk are now an official Apple reseller and they've dropped the XS 256GB Space Grey and Silver to £999. That's a £150 saving off RRP. This makes it only £10 more than their selling the 64GB for.

It's been this price for a couple of weeks now so Apple has definitely given them a good price to shift stock IMO.

I am 1000% expecting a $100 USD price cut with the 2019 lineup.

Then again, I was expecting that with the 2018 lineup, but at this point every other story is about piss-poor sales, so it's time for prices to go back the other way a bit with this year's release.

Where did you see/hear of price cuts? When? By how much?

I don’t think there will be any price cuts at this time, as another poster mentioned, probably not until the 2019 iPhones launch, where Apple might announce price cuts at that point. But in the middle of the iPhone semester as it is currently, the only thing Apple do at this point, is just use the promotion for the XR.

Undoubtedly, Apple is facing issues on iPhone sales. For 2018 iPhones, pricing is high, and the improvement is minor. Learning from the failure, 2019 iPhones would be more more competitive than 2018 in terms of functionality, design, and pricing, as I guess. Let us look forward to what will happen in 2019 fall.
