Price drop on iMac Flash?

Am I seeing that correctly?? I check the 27" iMac prices everyday at Apple and I swear the $1000 upgrade for the Flash Drive is now showing a price of $850. Can someone else confirm this?

I don't know about the US prices but here in Germany the iMac flash storage prices are the same (500€ for 512GB and 1000€ for 1TB).

Nope, in the US store it still says USD 1000. In the Dutch store it's still EUR 1000. Maybe you had the 3 GB drive selected, then it's a USD 850 upgrade.

That's exactly what I did! I'll blame that one on a Monday morning brain freeze... and wishful thinking!

Maybe you were looking at the Apple Store through some educational discount program?
