Price drop on iPad 3?

I haven't seen any info, but has anything been mentioned about a price drop? I mean, since the 4th Gen is taking is price slot now, will the 2nd be discontinued and the 3rd be the new model at $399/$419? Or will the 3rd be scrapped entirely and only have the 4th and Mini as the iPad lineup

Apple doesn't even sell the iPad 3 online. You had to wait until the 26th to order the iPad with retina display. This is what's pissing me off. They're not even selling it anymore, it's been completely replaced.

Yep. My iPad 3 got run over by a semi truck 4 days ago. (Unintentional). I just ordered a 32-Wifi-Black for $130 off. Although something odd - the cellular models are only ~$70 off.
