Looking to upgrade my iPhone SE (battery drains quickly even after replacement!) for a IPhone 8. Xfinity mobile offers $250 back when porting line and new device. May trade in SE for $50.

Currently the 8 64GB is $599 through but they may not drop til promo over 9/29. lol

Just brainstorming my options, they still have the Samsung s9 at $599 so they may hold tight on pricing .

If I were you, I would buy the iPhone 8 today. When the new iPhone is released and the price of the 8 is reduced, I would return the 8 and pick up another at a cheaper price. Win win scenario.

I know that a lot of diehard Apple fanboys are going to get upset reading this because how dare I "abuse" the return policy, even though it's already factored into the price.

3rd party is already cheaper than even Apple after September event

Unfortunately Xfinity Mobile only has a 14 day return window and restocking fee. Trust me I thought about it

If you brought brand new, you can add AppleCare after 90 days. All you need to do is go to Setting-General-About this phone and you will able to see option to add AppleCare.

Even for 3rd party? Post I quoted mentioned cheaper at 3rd party so seems risky.
