How much should I expect to pay for a mac plus or similar? Australian Dollar if possible please 🙂

Take a look on craigslist, or get in touch with the people on 68kmla (a few members are in Australia). I'm sure you can get most old macs on the cheap, heck, you might even be able to get one for just the shipping cost.

The Mac Plus was the longest-produced Mac, and is generally easy to find. I'd think no more than $10 if you look around. $50 should get you one in pristine condition with lots of accessories.

Being in Australia puts you in a different situation.. but I'd imagine it really depends where you live. If you live in a city you'll have more luck, in the country you probably won't find a whole lot locally and you have to resort to eBay.
