Seriously, this is insane! $4 for TWO medium sized tomatoes. For all of the money I spent to make tacos, I could have just went to Taco Bell.

What do tomatoes cost in your parts?

Any where from .99 cents a pound and up. It depends on the type of tomato, or where their from. This is in Fayetteville Ga.

Road side stands can be cheaper too.

I'm in New Jersey, the effing "Garden State" -- I want to know where the hell all my cheap produce went.

If you have a garden — or even a small balcony you can grow your own.

Seriosuly you just need good sun… and you'll have a glut.

And they are dead easy to grow. :)
Although admittedly you are a bit late for this year's season.
