Pricesurprise.org which has a featured ad on reddit has the rMBP listed for $1599 after coupon ZEROMARGIN, anyone use this website and know if its legit.

Sounds like a scam!

The price is 1,999 USD and it does not seem legit, as it lists the SKU as "MAC-PRO", which just seems wrong. It also has a picture of the standard (classic) MBPs on there.

I generally tend not to trust newly-created sites:

The whois info shows a created date of 23-May-2012.

New website, wrong model name, wrong product image, and a price that is too good to be true - if that doesn't spell scam, I don't know what does.

Meh I got it from the online apple store for less. Why would anyone bother buying from these guys?

That post is too funny! I would never order a machine from a site like that and expect to actually get the specs ordered.

I vote scam.

A lot of people are just really bad at buying things. Road kill comes to mind :D.

Just use Amazon

For BTO (build to order) machines, just do an Ebay search for the item you want. The best prices possible will be there generally. Ebay is really easy. You get BTO machine's for about $50 to $100 off, tax free, standard shipping. The sellers you want have 1000+ all positive. They are always the same players and have brisk, lucrative businesses.

You can get them on Craig's list cheaper, but you have be really lucky and also put in a lot of effort.

Also, check out Smalldog for BTO. Really nice company. And Portable One also. They are a nice company even though they have a penchant for coming here and shilling (understandable, actually :) )
