When looking in the refurbished section, I had a chance to look at the price of the same MacBook Pro model, and it was the exact same. So basically, I'm wondering if the prices in the refurbished section will be lowered or if it will stay that way. Before the price drop, it was still cheaper (about $100 less) to buy a refurb compared to a new machine with the discount.
