Starting prices:

iPhone Xr - $749
iPhone Xs - $999
iPhone Xs Max - $1099

All rumors and opinions were pointing towards $100 less per phone. I'm really surprised to see these starting price points especially for the Xs and Xs Max.

It's giving me pause on purchasing the Xs Max. $1100 is a lot.

Based on these prices, it's safe to assume the 512GB Xs Max will cost $1399 before tax, crazy stuff.

Agreed. Simply not worth it. Android is looking more attractive.
Yeah. Was thinking of going back to iOS with a larger iPhone X being available. Sticking with my Pixel 2 for now. I'll then decide between the Pixel 3 or the OnePlus 6T with their in-screen fingerprint sensor (oh and that OnePlus 6T will probably only be $550-$600).

Oof.. No thanks Apple.

Yeah, the price is a big hurdle for me. I just can't justify a $1000 camera regardless of the OS or starting storage. I'm not faulting anyone who will buy one. If you can afford it go for it, but I will probably stick with my iPhone 7+ for another year.

I'm a bit disappointed that the XS did not go down to $899 because that means it's going to be the same 1049€ price as the iPhone X here in Finland. The interesting thing will be if the iPhone X goes down as it's now been on "sale" for 999€ which isn't that great. At least on the used market the X will probably be a decent buy.

"The new iPhone is too expensive.", every release year ever. Personally, I won't be buying new but rather second hand. My 550€ 7 Plus 256GB (from December 2017) was so much value for money, I can't justify going for a 1000€+ phone anymore. But hey, they'll sell well anyway.

So does this mean, the XSM will cost $1399 for 512GB? ($1099 64GB, $1149 256GB) With CA sales tax $1507. Yikes! I will still order one. It's time for an upgrade.

I predicted the XSM 256GB will cost $1149 as the X 256GB was priced at. I guess $1399 is no surprise if the jump from 256 to 512 is $150.

EDIT: YIKES!!!!!!!!! Apple just refreshed their site $1449 for XSM 512GB - $1561.30 (w/ tax)

The prices, ouch. I was just on the line of getting a sMax, 256GB. I just can't though. My launch 7+ will have to go a couple more years I guess, maybe longer lol.

The prices have shifted to a higher plane. Get ready to pay even more next year :)
