Hey guys, I am looking for some advice on pricing my previous generation macbook pro 2.4 and 2.5.

Both are brand new in box, with 1year(minus few days) warranty
My asking price now is 1400 / 1600 cash. I posted on craigslist for 1 day, and received a few interested to pay $200 less of what i am asking for.

Is this because of the black friday? I honestly think 1400 and 1600 is a great deal. I bought my new previous generation macbookpro 2.4gh a month ago for 1550 cash, which was a good deal to me at that time.

Please give some input on this. Thank you.

Well I just bought a brand new 2.5 MBP Classic for $1599 (Educators Discount) Maybe they are students, and would rather pay the same price to Apple for the same machine?

It's $1499 for the 2.5 and $1349 for the 2.4 in the refurbished store before tax and shipping.

Of course in MA there isn't tax... And they all come with free shipping.

I paid $1399+tax a few weeks ago for a brand new in box 2.5 GHz Penryn MBP, the 15" one. This was through my university's education store, though. They called it an EOL discount. I was happy with it.
