Are we going to be able to choose whether we want our service activated on the eSim or will they activate it on a nano SIM? I'm going to get an unlocked model, but would like my T-Mobile service activated on the eSim so I can use my work SIM in the nano SIM slot.

I am on 12.1 beta 4 and using XS but not getting "Cellular" option setting. Is it because, esim option hasn't been enabled yet.

That only happens when you have a locked phone, otherwise you should see the "Cellular" option. I see it and it's just teasing me.

Ah ok so I won't be able to ditch my work phone just yet.

Thanks!

Well you need to find out if they are different first. Can’t be same carrier, one must be CDMA and the other must be GSM.

This is inaccurate. You can have two GSM’s.
