For some reason when streaming Prime and Netflix from my Apple TV4k there’s no dialogue only background music/sounds. It’s been a while since I watched content via the Apple TV but I remember something about subtitles or such. Any help would be appreciate

Instead of fiddling with the audio output settings on the appleTV, I would first play with the speaker settings on your Atmos system. E.g. eliminating the centre speaker. Then the centre channel shall be split between L and R speakers.

Great suggestion… it’s a Vizio soundbar and that isn’t possible

it’s a Vizio soundbar
Can it get Dolby Atmos?

To get subs in both, swipe up on the remote, Netflix, it should be on the right side and left bottom on Prime.

I have Apple TV to the tv, audio and vid settings are enable Dolby, format-4K SDR, Match Content-both, Audio Format-auto, dolby available and the change format-off and Immersive Audio-dolby Atmos is on.
Just for fun try HDMI connection setting.

Yes it does Atmos which is why I leave it on Auto. Prime and Netflix don’t stream Atmos on my plan. I’ll try what you mention

Okay I have no clue… turned it on today and both Prime and Netflix have dialogue again. Don’t really do anything to affect a change.
