It worked with ridiculous iPad prices. Look at all the sales on those at least once a month. It worked with Apple Watch prices. Look all the sales on the first generation models. I take credit for all of those sales. I helped cause the drop in prices. Me. Down with Apple! Down with Apple! Up with mini skirts!
Prices decreased in Japan by a decent amount. Before the event the prices were (in JPY):
256 m3: 148,800
512 m5: 184,800
After the event they are:
256 m3: 128,800
512 m5: 158,800
That's a 20,000 savings for the m3 (about US$190) and 26,000 for the m5 (about US$250).
