    Hi,

I'm after some help saving a .doc file as a PDF. I've opened up the file in Pages and used the Print to PDF option.

It saves okay, and it looks great in Preview but if I open in Adobe it looks terrible. The fonts are fuzzy (using Arial) and the images look lower quality too.

I'm not sure if it's just this machine, Adobe or something to do with Mac OSX.

Any help would be great, thanks.

The problem is most likely due to non-embedded fonts. While in preview, you can save/export the document and choose Generic PDFX-3 in the save dialog under Quartz Filter, and give the file a new name.

In Pages Export dialog, do you have image quality set to Best?

Have a look at http://www.macworld.com/article/1157024/pdfprinting.html for more on the topic.
