Do you need to buy the special ones to print on with an epson printer? or can you just use regular cds.
 
There are definitely printable CD's. They need the right type of surface to accept the ink... otherwise it would just smear off.
 
Answer: Yes.
Also: there are two types of printable CDs -- for thermal printers and for inkjet printers. You want the inkjet ones.
