Hi
I know this thread is getting old now, but just thought I'd add my recent experience to it anyway.

Many thanks nCafe for your post, suggesting the Splix 2.0.0 utility!

Just for information, I have my Samsung ML 1520 connected via the USB port on my Apple Airport Extreme and everything works fine from a new iMac running OS X Lion 10.7.2

I thought I was going to haver to get a new laser printer, but thankfully not just yet!

Thanks again.

would just like to add my reply to say thanks.

The older versions do not install in lion without rosetta... the splix worked great for ML-1510
looks like it supports LOTS of other models too.

Sometimes I love you guys.

MAC recognises the printer but does not print.

First time, ML1510 was instantly recognised by MAC OS X and nothing was required to do to print. I did print few pages that time without having to do anything.

After the first use, I updated the mac and since then the printer is recognised on the mac but does not print. when you hit the print button, the printer even receives the signals and start to warmup the cartridge but does not print.

I did check everything I could think of and had success printing with Win 7 but no success on mac.

Has anyone had success? please leave a message.

thanks.

Same for me, using latest Mavericks (10.9.2) and ML-1510, Splix is working flawlessly! :)
and for the ML-1510 I can find toners starting at 10 bucks :D
