My printer suddenly stopped working. I was trying to print a page from Word and got an error message saying something like "an error occurred when trying to print the document." Then when I opened the printer setup folder, I noticed that the box next to my printer was checked but deactivated. For some reason I thought if I deleted the printer and re-added it, it would work. But I wasn't able to add my printer back. When I tried that, I got a message saying that "an error occurred when trying to add the selected printer: error 13." I tried to reinstall the printer from the CD; I tried to reinstall after putting printer related files in trash (without emptying it). Nothing worked. Can someone help me? My operating system is OS 10.3.9 and the printer is a canon i 455.
