Just hopped on the public beta 6 and my ancient Canon printer connected via USB cable was “no longer supported” as shown in print dialog. Rosetta is installed. Re-adding printer did not resolve the error. Didn’t want to buy a new one because the old one has more ink than some new printers cost.
I was able to get the printer working by connecting via AirPrint/bonjour (wireless).
Keep in mind if your printer is as old as mine:
Printer probably only supports 2.4 ghz wireless, so if your network shares the same name as a 5 ghz, you might need to turn off the 5ghz channel temporarily to join or make sure you join your 2.4 GHz network (probably has 2.4 GHz in the name)
Also, most likely the printer won’t support wpa3 encryption, so you might need to make sure that wpa2 is also active for older devices (maybe even all the way back to wpa if printer is that old).
