Hello, I have a HP Laserjet 6p printer and it is connected through USB. The problem I'm having is whenever I try to print something I keep getting a whole bunch of these random characters. I have to turn off the printer to stop the printing. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Are you using a parallel to USB cable to connect to your mac? I don't think that cable works correctly. If that is your setup I would look into getting a print server and put it on your network

Yes, I'm using a parallel to USB cable. I just bought a 25 pin female part for it.
