Hi all,

I will be getting a Alum 20" iMac as soon as my refund check comes.

This is my first jump into the world of mac and i am so excited i cannot wait.

I have an HP PSC 5150 printer and it is connected to a router so that i can print from my laptod wirelessly.

From what i read alot of the drivers are already there or the mac will find them for you once you connect the printer to the mac via USB. This is great because i cannot recall what i did with the startup disks.

Will it also recognize my printer that is connected to the router and not directly connected to the mac.

Thanks for all your help.

should work fine using Line Printer Daemon (LDP) which is under "IP" when adding a printer in System Preferences.

all the information you will need is your router's IP address and queue name which should be in your router's documentation. what make & model router is it?

then choose the HP driver in Print Using.
