Ok just got a canon ip1800. Had a question with installing stuff. Does it make a difference if I use the inclosed CD or download the drivers and software from the Canon website? Is it all the same? Whats one advantage over the other. Thanks so much.

If the CD lists MacOS X software, then it will contain MacOS X drivers and possibly other software. The additional software may be nothing that you need or want, but you never know. The download will likely be only the latest version of the print driver. Drivers don't often change so that downloading them from the website may be unnecessary. Only if the driver on the website is newer than the one installed from the CD should you download it.

Great thanks for the reply. I need to get a usb cable before I do anything. So I'll just use the cd. Hope it works with Leopard.
