When I bought my 12" PB, I took the epson c84 offer (rebate $99) and my mac OS X.3.2 doesn't recognize it. Do I have to wait for a new driver, or is it just something that I'm not doing right?

Thanks to all for your advice on the Canon printers.
Yesterday I went out and bought the i560.
Real easy to set up and prints great! You saved me from buying an HP!

Thanks again.

Canon and Epson

I've had great success with my Canon S600 for about 3 years now and also with the Epson C80 we have at home for the family. Both have been very reliable.
However, recently I have had trouble with printing with my Canon. I can select print and the printer console will open, however the printer never really prints. No errors occur, the console opens, but it just doesn't seem to send the data over to the printer. I'm going to try to delete and add the printer again, just to see what happens, other than that, does anyone know what may be the problem?
By the way, I'm downloading the 10.3.3 update as I type, maybe that will help.

I also bought the Epson C84, But I left it in the box since I had the Canon i850. I only took the printer because it was free. I did receive the rebate.
I did look in the box and there are driver disks. I did read something on a forum somewhere that you need to select "Stylus C84 borderless print driver" when installing the driver. That is if you want to print borderless photos.

I've been using Canon for 2 years now. I am using the S520 with seperate ink cart's and love it.. what a great printer.

At our local costco you can get the i560 for $89.00 that's a great deal.

I have never had problems with my canon's... that's way more than I can say about other brands.

Yes, when you Add Printer..., you can select Add All since those printers have a separate printer definition for borderless printing.
