I own the white macbook, and i also own a pc

i just figured out how to network it, and it works perfectly: internet, file sharing, drive sharing, everything

everything except printers. under system utilites on my mac, i went to the printer set up, and actually found my printer in my network, added it, and i guess it should've worked fine

the problem is, nothing prints. my printer is working, my pc can print perfectly, but when i print from my mac, it wont do it. why? my pc is sharing the printer, so why won't it do it?

Have you got Bonjour installed on the PC? If you do, then the Mac should simply recognise the printer attached to the PC, assuming they're on the same subnet. 🙂

What stage of the printing process do you get to? Have you added the printer? Does it say it prints but no paper comes out? Do you get a warning dialogue box when you press print? 🙂
